This little milk-demanding dessert is a cross between a brownie and a cookie, you can’t go wrong!
First combine the wet ingredients in the stand mixer.
| 1 1/2 | sugar |
| 2 | eggs |
| 1 teaspoon | vanilla extract |
It only takes a few seconds, and make sure it is well combined.
In a separate bow, mix the dry ingredients.
| 1 cup | flour |
| 1/2 cup | unsweetened dutch process cocoa powder |
| 1/2 teaspoon | baking soda |
| 1/2 teaspoon | salt |
Set the dry mixture aside.
In a glass bowl over simmering water, melt the butter and chocolate.
|
4 ounces |
milk or semi-sweet chocolate |
|
1/2 cup |
unsalted butter |
Let the chocolate mixture cool for a few minutes.
Slowly mix the chocolate mixture into the wet ingredients.
Add the dry mixture.
Chop up your favorite chocolate or use pre-chopped chocolate chunks.
|
4 ounces |
milk or semi-sweet chocolate |
Stir the chopped chocolate into the batter. Use a cookie / ice cream scoop and place 2 inches apart on the cookie sheet.
Cook at 325degF for 10 - 15 minutes. Let cool!
Makes about 2 1/2 dozen. I suggest using whatever type of chocolate you like best! I bet they would even work with white chocolate.

These look SO yummy! I will have to give them a try.
